So that we can continue to attract more people as climate supporters and expand our app with additional useful functions, we invest 15% of the monthly fee in administration, employees, development and marketing.

Theselection of our projects is based on the Oxford Offsetting Principles to ensure that all our projects have a measurable effect in the fight against climate change.
Effective : The project must represent additional, permanent and unused CO 2 reduction or elimination.
Sustainable : The project should result from activities that do not cause social or environmental damage.
Verified : Every project is verified for influence by a trusted, independent third party.
There is no innovation or single solution that will stop climate change immediately. There is a need for different approaches and collaboration between governments, companies and private individuals. Everyone must cooperate in this important task.
Supporting climate projects is an immediate measure to counteract climate change. It offers you the opportunity to have a direct influence. But we also know that the direct focus must be on reducing CO 2 emissions in our lives so that we internalize sustainable, climate-friendly behavior and consumption. We support you with our learning offers.It is important that we use all available means to counteract the climate crisis.

We calculate your CO 2 footprint using a short questionnaire that covers the highest emissions categories. In the future, we would like to give you the opportunity to do a deep dive by answering more questions. As soon as this is possible within a relevant framework, we will let you know.
We start with an “inventory” by calculating your CO 2 footprint. We present the result in an understandable way so that you initially get an understanding of where you stand (also in comparison to others).
We create learning paths on climate-relevant topics and make them available to you. We want to make sure that you get a step-by-step understanding of the climate and influencing factors, but also direct recommendations for action and products. In this way we help you reduceyour CO 2 footprint.
Using our app does not cost any money. We would like to give everyone the opportunityto understand and reduce their own CO2 footprint. So that you can support the climate directly and become climate neutral, we make it easy for you to support climate projects. This happens with a monthly contribution. The amount of the monthly contribution depends on your CO2 footprint and the selected project.
Unfortunately,this function is not yet integrated into the app. Please send us an email to team@oneclimate.com to cancel your compensation plan. You can then select a new compensation plan.
To do this, simply open the OneClimate app, go to the home page and click on one of the circles in the section „Beantworte weitere Fragen zu deinen Emissionen“. You will see all the questions again and you can re-enter what has changed in your life.
